Good Neighbor Day ~ September 28th
National Good Neighbor Day is September 28th. National Good Neighbor Day encourages acts of kindness and strengthens community ties among neighbors. Some ideas to celebrate National Neighbor Day by: Being thoughtful: Offer to help a neighbor with a task, like gardening or running errands. Share treats: Bake some cookies or make a double batch of your favorite food to share. Share a smile or a wave: See someone walking down the street, getting out of their car? Say hello with a smile and a wave. Showing appreciation: Write a letter of encouragement or express gratitude to a neighbor. Connecting with neighbors: Host a casual get-together like “donuts on the driveway” or an informal chat. Improving your community: Go for a walk and pick up litter along the sidewalk.

Letter to Homeowners
Dear Homeowners – As the weather has warmed, we are hearing of owners/tenants watering the grass in their area. When individuals do this, it not only uses extra water of which we all pay for, but the landscapers are then unable to determine if the irrigation system is programmed correctly to meet our landscape needs. If you think that an area is not receiving adequate water, please contact our property management company, Heywood Management at hello@heywoodmanagement.com, so they may pass the word along to our landscaping contractor. Do not water it yourself. At the June Board meeting, the Rules and Regulations were updated to include all Board approved additions and changes that have been implemented since they were last updated in 2004. The fine amounts for second and subsequent violations have also been increased. We recommend that you review the Rules and Regulations to familiarize yourself with them. They are attached to this email and can be also be downloaded at www.quailpointclubcondos.com. We will be adding a few more items to the Rules and Regulations at our July meeting, so don’t forget to take another look next month. Other items of note from our June Board meeting are we approved the replacement of the mailboxes to be completed this fall along with various other maintenance items within the complex so you will be seeing contractors working periodically. Please let them do their work without interruption. We have also had people placing large items next to the dumpsters. All items must fit within the dumpster and allow the lid to close. Anything that does not meet these requirements must be disposed of at an offsite location by you. You will be fined for leaving items next to the dumpster as the HOA must then hire someone to haul your items away. If you see someone placing items next to a dumpster, please ask them to properly dispose of their discards offsite. Please direct all questions to Heywood Management at hello@heywoodmanagement.com. Thank you, Quail Point Club & Townhomes HOA Board of Directors
